John McCain’s Camp Fires Back At Madonna

She’s already in her 50s, but Madonna is proving that no matter how old she is, she still knows how to stir up controversy like she’s been doing throughout her career. This time it’s the John McCain camp which has been buzzing like a nest of angry bees, after news of Madonna’s video wall from her “Sticky and Sweet” concert tour compared McCain to Adolf Hitler and Zimbabwe dictator Robert Mugabe. So of course their campaign fired back with a statement calling Madonna’s presentation “outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time.”

McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds also stated: “It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits.” Yes, all this after the McCain camp attacked Obama with TV commercials comparing him with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. But then, hypocrisy has always been the Republican party’s strongest suit.
