Kate Hudson Is Getting Sued

What’s a nice girl like Kate Hudson doing getting sued? She’s got a smile that makes a guy’s heart go pitter-pat (even with no boobies), but it looks like Kate Hudson’s troubles this year aren’t over yet. After her recent break-up with Lance Armstrong, Kate is back in the news for very supposedly devious behavior, as she and hairstylist David Babaii are being sued by 220 Laboratories for fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract. The suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, recently, and it alleges that when 220 Laboratories approached Babaii and Hudson in 2006 to develop and manufacture hair products, revealing that they had a secret ingredient up their sleeve, which was volcanic ash from the Vanuatu Islands of the South Pacific. Babaii and Hudson then took this information and shopped around for a better deal, eventually developing the product with Universal Packaging Systems, Inc. Hudson even promoted the product in a 2007 interview with Vogue magazine, adding insult to supposed injury.
